The legendary Margo Hall hosted the show in front of 800 attendees. The delightful Dave J. Abrams opened the program with a hilarious number about some of the TBA’s 2019 finalists and Tony-winner and former Bay Area resident, Daveed Diggs, appeared via pre-taped video introducing the show and making a touching closing tribute to the Bay Area theatre community. We also performed a short excerpt at the show too and BATCO to great applause! It was a tremendous evening and one which won’t be forgotten soon. Read more about the evening here.

We are beyond thrilled by this honor and achievement. It’s a testament to the dedication and talent of our amazing cast and crew, and to everyone that supports our shows - your attendance and donations help us create special, accessible theatre about the people that call the Bay Area, home. Bay Area theatre is a thriving, creative community and we are excited and humbled to be a part of it. Thank you TBA and thank YOU, our SF BATCO family and friends.

We couldn't bring wonderful shows like "I, Too, Sing America" to life without your support. Please consider making a donation to SF BATCO this giving season. Your gift helps us create authentic and affordable productions and gives local students access to confidence-boosting mentorships and career-building training programs.
