Our 2024 Impact Report - Building the Future We Want to See

Wow—what a year! We made some serious theater magic in 2024. From standing ovations to life-changing educational programs, here’s what we pulled off together:

🎭 270 local arts jobs created—keeping the creative energy in the Bay Area alive.

🎟 6,000 audience members filled our seats, laughed, cried, and cheered.

🎓 105 students got hands-on with theater training, sparking their creativity.

❤️ 1,250 free tickets given to students & community groups—because theater is for everyone!

In 2024, we celebrated SFBATCO’s tenth anniversary—a milestone that inspired us to dream bigger, push further, and create with even greater passion. We set out to make the year unforgettable: launching the world premiere of Sign My Name to Freedom after three years of development; hosting our first-ever gala as part of our #ThankYou10 campaign; and deepening our impact through expanded youth programs and community partnerships. Thanks to the brilliance of our artists, the passion of our collaborators, and the generosity of our supporters, we didn’t just meet these goals—we exceeded them. Now, as we look ahead to our next decade, we carry forward that same fearless creativity, unwavering integrity, and sheer joy that defined our first ten years.

Theatre only comes to life when people gather to share in it, and we are profoundly grateful to you for being on this journey with us. At a time when it feels like our country is moving backward, we remain committed to moving forward—creating, inspiring, and building the future we want to see. Thank you for being part of this story.
