Since 2023, our Education Team has been working with the students and faculty of Ida B Wells Continuation High School to bring theater-making and performance to their classroom and to the stage
Program Title: Performance and Theater-making
Each semester, our teaching artists work alongside in-school staff to engage students in devising a performance of original theatrical work. As the students write and rehearse their performance project, they learn the basics of ensemble theater work, acting scene study, and dramatic writing skills.
